Marmalade overlooking the beach

This is the first post I’m writing about a picnic. Since I did not eat at a restaurant I cannot tell you about the service or the atmosphere but I can tell you about the food! There’s this really good lentil salad that I get and what it has in it is amazing goodies. When we had this picnic we were also hoping to get roasted butternut squash salad and chick pea salad that we love but instead, this time, we got something different. And we really liked the old salads but they didn’t have them there. So we got new salads and they turned out even better! We got a wild rice salad that had cashews and celery and a black bean and corn salad. We did our picnic at Ocean Avenue which has an incredible view of the ocean. I played my guitar and we brought a soccer ball, football and my brother’s bike. To end my post, I would give Marmalade Cafe four and a quarter stars and if you pick up Marmalade Cafe and want to have a picnic, Ocean Avenue is the perfect place to go!

Papa thinks that cashew & corn salad sounds GREAT. He could have a great picnic with JUST a cashew salad. Great review of unusual spot to chow down.

The Marmalade Cafe is one of my most favorite restaurants, Glfkid. I even met your dad there for dinner in Sherman Oaks a couple of months ago and it was D-Lishus! And Ocean Avenue Park was my father’s, who was your Dad’s Opa with the exact same name as your name, most favorite places to be in. Which is why your dad and his brother called him Opa Beach even before they were your age! 🙂
