We went to this new restaurant, Divino, because it was my brother’s birthday and I had basketball practice right before. When I walked in I thought it was a beautiful restaurant because there were all sorts of flowers and our table was nice and I just thought it was so beautiful. Also, I thought we had a really amazing view looking from inside to outside. You could see trees that had little blue lights that were wrapping up the trees.
I ordered mushroom risotto. I’ve had risotto at a few different restaurants in my life. This one was the best. The risotto was both crunchy and creamy at the same time. I thought the mushrooms were unbelievable and amazing – they were so mushroomy. I also appreciated the service because they brought a candle out for my brother. They stuck it on the plate with the chocolate covered strawberries that my mom made and brought to dinner.
In honor of my brother’s birthday I want to share this song for him:
“This is your birthday song,
It doesn’t last too long.”
Hey! That’s it!

I’ll tell you another about his brother and now my story is done.
Good-night!

February 3, 2014 7:52 amA very pithy review, right to the point. So I think the GFK deserves a short poem of his own:
“The GFK writes a fine review,
It’s often thumbs up, but sometimes is a ‘boo’!!”.
