Today, for lunch, I had quesadillas while I was on a field trip. What I’m reviewing are the gluten free tortillas that I make into lots of different things. That’s why I brought up that I had quesadillas for lunch. The brand is called Food for Life. I make wraps, quesadillas and burritos but I’ve never tried them plain. I’ve wondered how they would taste plain. But I should tell you that these tortillas do fall apart when used for other things than quesadillas. So, I can tell you how to make the quesadillas. The ingredients are tortillas, cheese, kale or spinach, and mushrooms. My parents put the tortillas in a pan on the stove and in a separate pan they sauté the mushrooms and kale in a little olive oil. Then they sprinkle the cheese over the tortillas and then put the mushrooms and spinach over the cheese, and then fold the tortilla up. I use the vegan Daiya cheese which maybe I will review another time. My mom may be a little surprised by this but out of five stars I would give them four and a half. I think you should try these and if you do, let me know how it was!
