Jackpot Sweet Treats!

I have always wondered my whole life how donuts have tasted.  Every time I see donuts they have gluten in them.  For the last couple of years I have wondered if I would ever find gluten free donuts.  I was sure there were some donuts that were gluten free but I never found them.  Until now that is.

Katz Gluten Free makes a whole line of donuts! And they are dairy free too!  I feel like I just got a royal straight flush in poker.  Which is nearly impossible to get because you need an ace, king, queen, jack and ten all of the same suit.  Do you realize how impossible this is?  Easier said than done.  In fact about two hundred times easier said than done.

Are you wondering why I know about poker? That is because I love card games. I know how to play poker, go fish, black jack, gin rummy and war.

But back to the donuts.

The four donuts I tried were cinnamon, chocolate glazed, powdered sugar and glazed.  I wanted a lot so I asked my mom if I could have one of each.  She said “No way!” So she ended up giving me a quarter of each donut.  This equals a whole so I was willing to accept that.

The powdered sugar donut was as good as the first time I had ever had a cookie.  The little powders went into my mouth and my taste buds went nuts.

The glazed donut was very moist.  I think a lot of gluten free things aren’t very moist so this was a good surprise.  Like an exciting birthday present surprise.

You have to have a chocolate glazed donut, right? The rich flavor of the chocolate made my mouth water for more.  So I ate more!

The cinnamon donut was my favorite of all of these.  It had the little specks of cinnamon which tasted sweet in my mouth while the donut itself was cakey.  This combination made my tummy grumble with joy.

You know when you play poker or actually any game at all you usually have fun? But when the game is over you say to yourself “rats, I wish that had kept going.”  Same thing with these donuts.  When you have them in front of you it is super exciting.  But then when those donuts are all gone…what a bummer.

I wasn’t the only one who enjoyed these donuts.  You gotta watch this video and see my live action review and a funny clip of my brother eating them too!

You could have a show like Guy Fieri except vegetarian, Gluten Free and dairy free. I’d watch it every week!

What a great post! I’ve got to try some of those donuts!

That was a wonderful video Kid. You guys make a great comedy team… like Abbott and Costello! You remind me of Costello and your brother is a dead ringer for Abbot.

I was there when you got the doughnuts and I was glad to taste some too.

Oh, yes! The aperture captured your appetite for donuts!!!! So funny! It tickled my heart to read and watch your video. It looks like the Donut Event was lots of fun for everyone in your family!

When I tasted that powdered donut of Katz’s I was transported to my childhood. Those darn things taste just like those little Hostess donuts I used to eat as a child. A powdered donut with strawberry ice cream was just a little bit of heaven for me~! hahah I like the glazed and the cinnamon ones, too. OH……they are so good!

The fact that you have been wondering your WHOLE life what a real donut/doughnut tasted like! Oh, you poor kid! I am so happy the wondering is over! hahahahhaha
