Be Kind to Yourself and Eat this Chocolate Cereal

Chocolate cereal? Not the healthiest thing in the world, but when you need an absolute delicious breakfast this cereal should be up your alley. I’m talking about Dark Chocolate Whole Grain Clusters and it is definitely up mine.

The kind brand is a brand I have eaten for years from granola bars to chocolate cereal and I love every crumb or cluster about it. In their cereals, you can find oats, millet, buckwheat, amaranth, and quinoa. Healthy and good, this brand makes your taste buds pop out of your head. The bars are just as good, and we eat them for snacks on the go every time we go somewhere.

In KIND products you can find at least 7g of protein and a very good source of fiber. You can get these bars and cereal and more at grocery stores and markets and practically any place that sells food. We got this chocolate cereal at Whole Foods and my mom was quite irked about that because my mom thought that sounded like having dessert for breakfast, so she was not sure we would buy it again. On this same trip to the grocery store me and my brother filled our bowls up so high from the salad bar that she thought it was too expensive.  My thought is that if I’m eating that much salad it shouldn’t be a big deal to eat chocolate cereal for breakfast right?

The word KIND means a to to me. It is one of the most important things to me. I have always had a debate with myself about, which is more important; being kind or being nice. And do you see the difference?  I have always leaned toward the word kind because I think kind is like nice to the tenth power or something.

So this cereal really is kind. It’s not just named that, it actually IS that.  This cereal is incredible. I don’t have one negative to say about it. The taste is sweet, but not too sweet. You can use it for different things like you could have this as a topping with coconut yogurt, or just as cereal with milk and even just take a handful on the go. This is one of my favorite breakfasts now and maybe if I keep eating all that salad my mom will reconsider and let me have this for breakfast every day!

I’m with your mom on this one, the cereal falls into my dessert category; but, before I read your critique, I didn’t know this was an option to those wonderful KIND bars! So, when I want a well-balanced, low-glycemic index, pure-pleasure sweet snack — I’ll take your advice and reach for some really KIND granola! Thanks, Max!
